LOWER FIFTH I

  • Lower Fifth Avenue, New York, NY

Originally a classic one-bedroom prewar, the apartment has been renovated into a two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom home. The floorplan presented a unique opportunity to reimagine the space—allowing for the creation of a second bedroom and a half bath—transforming the apartment into an ideal home for a young family.

The renovation opened the main living area to create a bright, loft-like space while preserving key prewar details such as the symmetrical entry hall and decorative moldings. All electrical and plumbing systems have been upgraded to modern standards.

The kitchen, though compact, is highly efficient and fully equipped with a dishwasher, double oven, cooktop, microwave, and washer/dryer. Thoughtful design provides ample cabinet and storage space. Throughout the apartment, storage was a top priority, with three dedicated storage closets and an oversized primary bedroom closet, minimizing clutter and maximizing clean living space.
